lyrics
Dependent upon rape to survive every day, but your victim is dead. And she gave you life. Jones for the fuel, 0il Junkie. Killing for more, like a fiend.
Stumble and fall, weak and sick. Tapped the vein once too often.
Oil Removed. Human Failure
Human chose its fate. Efforts to escape the hell that we create may prove to be too late. Crushed by the wheels of consumption, choked by the air we breathe. Blind to the effects of our actions. Made to believe that we had no choice.
Love the vibe of this project as a whole. SUPER depressed angry music which relies heavily on sound clips and audio collage is my jam especially in sludge. Feels like a more deprived and crusty version of Through Silver in Blood. Either way, the balance between the audio collage and more tradition crust/sludge sections is perfect and leaves me satisfied every time I listen (which is a lot) kaiiil
This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
The stygian duo explore themes of gender dysphoria and oppressive institutions through sludgy doom with a pitch-black underbelly. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2021
A fantastic debut showing from Baltimore metal band Born of Plagues, uniting post-metal's expansive textures with sludge's almighty muck. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2021
