We originally put this together for a CD on Slap A Ham in 2001
and then we broke up :(
and then a decade later, we got back together :)
and Emetic records re-released this on both CD and vinyl in 2011
and several years later, Throne records asked to re-re-release it on vinyl only
and then we broke up again :(
and now we have a pile of records to sell :)?

lyrics
Raise my head and
all I see is gray
Breathe so you can
take my life away
Steal my life as
darkness turns to day
I return to weakened state of slave
In shackled suit,
I’m worn away by strain
As day wears on,
I feel my body drain
In warming hum,
my softened mind may stray
In lengthy slumber,
broken body lay.

Love the vibe of this project as a whole. SUPER depressed angry music which relies heavily on sound clips and audio collage is my jam especially in sludge. Feels like a more deprived and crusty version of Through Silver in Blood. Either way, the balance between the audio collage and more tradition crust/sludge sections is perfect and leaves me satisfied every time I listen (which is a lot) kaiiil
this their most solid release to date, there other records are all insanely brilliant, you should buy them if you enjoy this for sure. keep kicking ass and putting some of the best sludge this decade. Ryan Graham
The stygian duo explore themes of gender dysphoria and oppressive institutions through sludgy doom with a pitch-black underbelly. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2021
A fantastic debut showing from Baltimore metal band Born of Plagues, uniting post-metal's expansive textures with sludge's almighty muck. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2021
